Executive Management Team

At helm of BCMG Insurance Brokers is William Craig, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is responsible for providing strategic direction in setting and implementing the company's mandate and strategy. Formerly the CEO of Billy Craig Insurance Brokers, William has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years, after an extensive career in the local banking industry. During his tenure as CEO, he grew the revenues of Billy Craig by over 300% and stamped his legacy on the insurance industry. William brings a wealth of industry experience to his current role having held key management positions in Insurance and Banking. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Clemson University. He is not only about getting the job done, but getting it done the right way. His vision is to create the kind of insurance broker that is first of its kind in the Caribbean with a forward-thinking team, who values excellence in execution. William is about transforming people’s lives. He has served as Past President of the Jamaica Insurance Brokers Association (JIBA), Member of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce (MBCC) and Past Director of the Cornwall Regional Hospital. He currently serves on the Boards of Mailpac Group and Cargo Handlers Ltd. and is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization. His passion for education and social causes fuels his dream to ensure that BCMG Insurance Brokers is an organization that is the #1 insurance company to work for and serve Jamaica.

Ian Miller is the Chief Technical Director and nominated Compliance Officer at BCMG Insurance Brokers. He has the responsibility for the training, development, definition, and implementation of the company’s product, to ensure the strengthening of business opportunity and the growth of market coverage and coverage specification. Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institutes of London, by examination, one of a few in the industry to hold this designation. His earlier work experience includes duties as Managing Director at Billy Craig Insurance Brokers and senior management level at Eagle Star Insurance Company (UK). Ian has over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry and handles some of the Company’s more complex accounts. Having served as a senior manager for Billy Craig since the early 1990’s, Ian has a keen sense of the heart of the company. This understanding of the foundation and the vision for the company’s legacy, coupled with his broad depth of industry experience, cements Ian as an ideal leader on the BCMG team. A man of high standards and professionalism, Ian is often affectionately referred to as the encyclopaedia of the office. BCMG stands to benefit from sound technical skills in all areas of insurance as well as his wealth of experience in broking and underwriting.

Pete Walker is currently the Vice President of Operations at BCMG Insurance Brokers. Formerly the Head of Broking Operations at Billy Craig Insurance Brokers since 2017, Pete was responsible for leading both sales and operations teams to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. Prior to BCIB, Pete amassed a wealth of experience across the insurance industry both locally and internationally, having worked at GK General Insurance Company (formerly Jamaica International Insurance Company) in Jamaica for over 15 years where he last served in the capacity of Assistant General Manager. He was notably a part of the team that developed and launched GKI’s online insurance portal. Prior to his tenure at GK General Insurance Company, he worked in London at Willis, with the Latin American reinsurance team and placed reinsurance treaties in the European reinsurance market in the early 2000s. Pete is an expert project manager who gets the job done. One of his greatest achievements at Billy Craig is the spearheading of the development and launch of the company’s first web portal design to enable an enhanced customer experience. This portal allowed more efficient and on-time access to information and services, enabling clients to better manage their policies and claims with cutting edge solutions never seen before in the local broker market. Currently, Pete oversees the team’s Operations, Data Management, Marketing, Sales, IT and New Business functions at BCMG, a smooth transition from his previous function. Pete holds a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Institute of Insurance, London. As Vice President of Operations, his core mandate is to provide senior level executive direction for bringing new business to the table; coordination, delegation, and decision-making for all internal teams and driving the company’s brand awareness in the industry.

Kimm Daley has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and is one of the few market professionals holding the ACII and Attorney-at-Law designations. Before joining the MGI (Insurance Brokers) Limited team in 2009 she occupied the post of Claims Manager at CGM Insurance Brokers Jamaica Limited. She has held the following positions:

• Lecturer – College of Insurance  Professional Studies 1995-1997
• Secretary – Jamaica Insurance Brokers Association 2003-2005
• Founding Member – Jamaica Society of Insurance Professionals & Technicians
